Ascii
Art is a form of artist expression using standard computer charactors
and carefully measured spaces to draw images. It was developed before
computer graphics were commonplace and charactors were non-proportional.
For many years, this was the only way to "draw" on a computer.
With
a long standing tradition with computer artists, ASCII Art has again
become popular, this time as an addition to E-mail signatures. After
all, a picture is still worth a thousand words and in this case,
requires much less bandwidth to send. For some help developing your
E-mail ACSII identity, try these links. Remember to use a non-proportional
font like courier. |
