GET A TURNTABLE - Connect your turntable to the "phono" inputs of your amplifier and remember, the better quality needle and cartridges makes better recordings. AMPLIFIER - Connect "Tape Out" to your computers INPUT (strangely labeled Microphone). with a standard audio cable with the right "Y" adapter on the end.
The right "Y" adapter has two female "RCA" audio connectors at one end of a "Y" - a single stereo-mini connecter on the other, available at any Radio Shack.
SOFTWARE - With everything physically connected, you now need software in your computer to do the actual recording. Convert your recordings to MP3s or burn them on to an audio CD! |
